Well I am not up in the numbers, but those with the most recent windows 10 are also seemingly amazed at the much better speed in Narrator. Comments are, its like a complete rewrite, a different animal

Yes, I did correct some of those errors in the source but some are beyond what I understand, so left well alone.
I like this add on as it can allow me to understand screen layout having been sighted

I have windows 7, and find Jaws slower than Nvda on Quantum, but I tend t9o use waterfox most of the time still, as it seems less prone to show me adverts.

If you use Tbird there is no worry about Chrome as they are not interdependent.
I personally feel your friend maybe just had a bad experience, as to me there are more snooping routines in anything

If you do not do it soon Windows 7 will be end of life and then you won't be able to install it. to be honest I've never found anybody have problems with it. Its the standard install and has been for

Well the difference is that quantom will eventually get better, the difference though is that waterfox will still be able to run classic code and the classic engine.

What program are you trying this with? I can't get this to occur in Notepad but I can in Wordpad. I'm using the simulated mouse available in NVDA but it shouldn't matter.
