I had exactly the same problem. Try the latest beta - 2018.4beta1 - it

Outlook Message List Freezing
I have to use Outlook 2016 for work. Unfortunately when I up and down
arrow through the message list the majority of the time NVDA seems to
freeze up and not read me the subject lines of the messages.

Re: Bug in beta with command line window in administrator mode
Good catch, I was running it directly from the installer. I'll try to
properly install it tonight and see if I can still reproduce this. It
would be great to have some kind of meaningful error message

Are you running an installed copy? If not, then it won't work.

All add-ons disabled, the bug is still there.
I couldn't find that bug in recently filed issues on github.

Hi,
Does restarting with add-ons disabled help? If not, it would be best to search GitHub for issues (it was noted a few months ago).
Cheers,
Joseph

You said NVDA enter in your message. If you don't read messages before sending, it is a good idea. You may make mistakes when writing that you catch when reading before sending. I read mail before

Re: Gramarly for Firefox and conflicts with NVDA
Hi Group,
If this Grammarly add on is specific for Firefox and NVDA, is it really necessary? Firefox has a spell as you go feature that flags misspellings in edit fields.
