I took it for my singing class. It really does help with foreign languages or people who not speak. It is an amazing language and I hope to one day continue my studies in IPA

Not sure if you are aware but nvaccess sells some books. They vary in price depending wht format you get. 2 of them are one is for excel and the other for word and there is one for the screen

Well, I have seen no resources for NVDA, but a professor at Rice University has worked extensively on a Braille version of IPA and has also written a guide to getting IPA to work with JAWS.

There is a specific Windows 10 way to make programs the default. Someone will describe it. Some or many programs can't be made the default by using the make default option in the programs themselves

I think, generally in windows 10 there are some places where Edge is used no matter what you do, but I believe that you need to actually do as you always could and set up default programs for certain

Do you see the link if you tab when browse mode is off? We need to determine if this is a problem with tabbing, a Windows command, or if NVDA skips the link in browse mode but not in forms mode.

That sounds like an espeak thing, is that the synth you aare using?
As for verbosity, I tend to just shut it up with any key press.
