Ok, it did not work to disable add ons it still happens anyplace i use the numpad insert control f i get formating information instead of the find that nvda is supposed to be doing.

The problem is one can't choose if windows 10 home edition updates or not, only the time to restart and install updates. So probably the windows of some people (including my self) will be updated

What I found is that, as long as I generally keep webvisum add-on disabled in firefox, the combination works fine - same windows 10 64 bit OS, and latest NVDA - and, can still turn on webvisum

Hi,
I use 64-bit version of Windows 10 and NVDA 2016.2.1 without any problems. Both Mozilla product, Fireworks and Thunderbird work correctly.

I haven't seen this behaviour before, but if you have a specific situation that this happens consistently in, could you please try restarting with addons disabled and see if it still happens?

If by "shut off the chatter" you mean to stop NVDA from speaking while you type, etc., you can use NVDA Key+S to toggle speech mode. I also use the No Beeps Speech Mode NVDA add-on

First Of all the other comands that the Insert key on the numpad that NVDA uses work just fine. it is just the NVDA Control F which the nvda key is the one on the numpad that i am refering
