Re: trouble closing NVDA
Quentin,
I believe I'm running 2018.3.2 on that system , and I only update when
prompted to. Eloquence was bought from the AT guys, so should be
legitimate. As I mentioned, I won't be at that location

Joseph.
In the latest download of stable, there are very few add ons that are allowed to be enabled. However only one is flagged at the start, indent nav.
All the others seem to have been disabled

So are you going to pull all the add ons that do not comply on the release date of the next nvda version and put them into a special sub site where people who have the know how can adapt them or use

Well that depends on which version you have. the hacked one or the legal one, but normally it does not seem either way to stop nvda closing, its usually strange behaviour generally or just locking up

Re: Meandering NVDA Miscellany (including that it's alive and well)
Hi!
I like the honest debate culture here, except for some bait and
switch, such as suddenly switching from a performance issue to a
security issue as seems tactically advantageous. Good try though.

Assuming it is the official Eloquence synthesizer (the paid one), as long as you are on the latest version, you should be ok, but it would still be useful restarting NVDA without it running just

not certain that that is an add-on anyway. Lou

Hi,
I may need to disassemble alpha build binary, but at least, by default, VS2017 will try to add SSE/SSE2 code.
Cheers,
Joseph
