NVDA also reads the message body on my machine. However it reads the subject
when I click on the message but then it reads the message body. I'm using
outlook 2016.

No. When I open your message, nvda reads the body of the message, it does
not read the subject line. Yes, I am using outlook 2013.

In this regard its exactly the same in Outlook Express. One thing often found is that if the email has a graphic in it, in some mailers its flagged as an attachment when its really just a small icon

You do need to make sure you save this change or set it as save on exit, but I suspect that was how it got messed up before so it may be better to turn that off but save it when you are sure about the

Jaws seems unable any more to read some of the flags on Outlook Express and live mail.OK discontinued software but many still use them like myself with the former. Its only Microsoft who seem to not

I have had windows do things with wireless keyboard.
If its doing that a lot, then its probably your keyboard.
It could be dirty but most like you have a dieing battery.
Make sure you keep a spare

Sadly some stuff can say attatchments but not actually have anything.
Some stuff have automatic attachments like some outlook things, maybe some pictures, those usually are scrubbed

Run python, not idle. Use whatever text editor you like for programming,
the only thing you really need to know that's different is indentation
level. As far as I know idle isn't accessible. Be nice
