What version of Windows are you running? I found the insider previews made my machine very unstable, which in turn caused NVDA not to work properly. Switching to the latest stable release

There's an easier way than this. Get ThunderBird portable from portable apps, and just tell the portable apps client to install itself in your DropBox or one drive folder or whatever cloud service you

I don't see this with add ons on or off but do occasionally hear an error tone on start up.

Regarding Slack I have used it and the program is accessible. However, just because a program is screen reader accessible doesn't necessarily mean that it has an intuitive user-friendly interface.
