Hi Brian
I just wanted to comment on this one. Reading character by character is more fair than having a speech synthesizer be able to read a whole word phonetically. If a blind student is studying

Is NVDA using the wrong type of widget (tree) to show the headings in the Elements List dialog?
Go to webaim.org and bring up the list of headings (Ins+F7).
WebAIM has two h2s before the main h1. NVDA displays all the headings using a tree widget but a tree usually has the root node at the top.

Re: μTorrent 3.5.4: NVDA does't read the name in the list of entries.
Of course, with any software, but especially something like a torrent client, it’s always advisable to know both the implications fo what you are getting into, and how said software works.

Re: Thunderbird with NVDA
You can use the read to end command. I saw someone propose another solution but I don't know how well it works. it is changing whether messages open in a new tab or window or whatever the choice is.

Re: Thunderbird with NVDA
Hi, Robert,
Try opening messages in a new tab instead of a new window. The subject of the message should stop repeating after that.
Hope this helps.

Robert,
That's mine, and I would appreciate attribution, but I do not care where this information is shared otherwise. I write these for the purpose of getting that information spread

Thunderbird with NVDA
I have the latest Thunderbird.
Is there a way to suppress reading the title of message when it opens? NVDA and Jaws both read the title as much as 3 times when I open a message from the list.

Editing in Edge
I notice NVDA is having trouble tracking cursor movement while editing forms in Edge. Any tips besides switching to another browser? I'm kind of liking Edge and don't want to use Firefox or Chrome

I'm not sure who posted it, can you send me a link to your website or whatever so I can credit you? I've added it to the NVDA guides wiki. The link is below, so feel free to make

Re: In-Process 15th March including CSUN discount in the shop
You know you can add an RSS feed integration to groups, so they automatically post when a feed gets updated? It's an avenue that maybe could help with posting blog posts and add ons that are accepted

Sounds a lot of fun, at least if you are young!
I guess the real outcome of this will only be known after following up leads made at the event.

Hello,
While I agree with the community sharing aspect of torrent-like software, one does need to understand how they work and the implications of the process. Here is one experience I had about ten
