How would one rattle Microsofts cage on this. The question is, does Narrator work?

Re: tabs on web page
Is this a page we can all go and look at?
Also, it might be that the browser is important.
also I've had so called tabs that put stuff elsewhere on the page but do not indicate to the screenreader

Nothingn to do with nvda. I click into the element then go back into the page and then go into the edit field. It works then.

Re: Outlook (Office 365) not reading message list in NVDA 2019.1
Corbb,
By the way, if you have the time it's worth testing if the same issue is occurring in earlier versions of NVDA, or just 2019.1. I was given this link yesterday to download

I am using the desktop keyboard setting. I am unsure how to route the mouse. I thought it was by using the insert and divide key on the numpad.

That isn't a good work around but I brought it up in case someone needs to work with a list. It sounds as though you can do so in that tedious way.

Gene,
This is apparently an issue of very long standing, and it impacts JAWS, too. I added a comment to the following NVDA issue on Github:

Re: Odd behavior with Contact Group member list in Outlook 2016
What happens if you use the read current line command after you up or down arrow?
If that doesn't work, though it would be very inconvenient, what happens if you up or down arrow, then alt tab out

Re: Strange Behavior with Microsoft UI Automation
I'm also using Office 365. I've also noticed that NVDA doesn't automatically read email messages when they open, and it was my understanding that it would do this with UI Automation enabled.
