Could I just interject to say these are pretty common, particularly in older versions of office programs. In the end, most of the time everything sort of tends to recover after a pause. I'm not sure

quirks immediately after starting programs have been a long term issue
for me. This is just one of the cases where I chose to have a look at
the log. I believe these are all instances of issue

yes, the impact is I often have to alt+tab away and back in to get any
meaningful output.
