In the symbols pronunciation dialog, there are two entries for both these symbols, as there are two cases where both are usually used. The long and short of it is, you'd need to change them both,

by the way, you still have the old Vocalizer Expressive voices, but
there are new voices like Anna, Markus and many more in German. Will
these available too?

With that bundle, I am not sure...
With the Vocalizer Expressive from Tiflotecnia, yes, the compact voices can be used.

As an aside, does Outlook in its newest form still handle usenet news? Its this and the way Outlook express segregates accounts that I'm looking for in a client before updating to windows

When I shut down NVDA. The music still played in one speaker when I used the head phone. I went into winamp equalizer and fixed the balance there. I launched NVDA and had it talking with the music

Press ctrl+Shift+P to open the command palate. This prrogram has a web interface so just press E to jump to the edit area, then press spacebar to enter it then write code. Press esc to exit it

Also, I don't think you ever said what program you are using to play music.
I assume you have made sure the "mono audio" setting under the Ease of Access Center is turned off. I doubt that could do

The Vocalizer speech works well, as far as I know, from the very little I played with it. But the Eloquence offered in the same add-on has a lot of annoying artifacts. You won't have those artifacts
