Re: NVDA versus JAWS
I have never had these problems with Jaws, and I have found NVDA equally
reliable.
Each screen has better access in some cases, and so I frequently switch back
and forth.

Hello Aine, hello list,
I am not able to give you an objective view here, just my experiences.
Coming from a Mac/Unix environment myself I would say NVDA does a good job with standard office

What do yu mean by everything? If you really mean "everything," That is incorrect. NVDA is good enough that what it does doesn't need to be exaggerated. That disappoints people and harms

Use control c and control v in browsers. The commands you are using are intended for times when there is no cursor or virtual cursor. Browse mode uses a virtual cursor.

Chris,
Great work! I had tested NVDA+7, but then had neglected to test NVDA+6, oops!
Zahra, you can either press NVDA+6 and it should toggle the setting, otherwise it is in NVDA's "Review Cursor"
