While checking the NVDA braille display list I noticed that HIMS is no
longer there. But if one chooses automatic NVDA sees Braille edge.

Hi,
in the Braille preferences, you can specify how long, in seconds,
messages should be displayed. Could it be that you have set this to
zero?

Talking about Braille Edge, a friend of mine pointed out to me that in the latest version of NVDA there are no more drivers for Hims devices.
She has a BrailleSense, and doesn't know how to connect

when I press nvda+1 to get input help braille ceases.
Audio continues properly, but I cannot hear it well enough to decipher some of the weirder items.

Haven't looked at it in a while as I found it clunky and slow and just
