Is the document in Urdu script or Roman Urdu? And are you using the Urdu voice of eSpeak-ng?

This is maybe problem of Espeak NG. You mwill haveto contact those developers in Espeak NG.

Control-G to get focus to the VM and control-alt to get control of the host machine.

It should be, I think control g gets the machine in focus and control alt gives you control again.
