It is an off-the-shelf ocr program. Many blind people find it accessible. I think the current version is 14 , not sure.

It's just an extension of YAML. And as such text. Any text editor should be able to do it basically, and if you want something better, I'm sure you could use Notepad Plus Plus. Writing any kind of

Notepad++ supports YAML, of which RAML is an offshoot. You might be able to get away with that. There could very well be a RAML plug-in, too.

Thanks all – yes not having updated NVDA was the issue! Mystifying as I double checked my settings and I’m supposed to automatically get notified about updates, which didn’t happen. Ah well.

If you want nvda to say the line as you mentioned hit the number 8 3 times.
