Re: Jaws is now doing better with thunderbird than nvda
think you have to do the setting when you setup the account
in account settings of the account
syncronization settings there is a checkbox
keep messages in all folders on this computer

I am not getting this but I don't doubt that it is happening for some, anyway if jaws works for you but I can't see how it would be better. but anyway if it works fare enough.

Re: Jaws is now doing better with thunderbird than nvda
I have not had any issues at all but then I don't keep a full inbox, I kill all my list mail after I have it.
You can still get old 52.9.1 if you so want, it won't be secure anymore but

If you want to add folder in Windows Mail then
Press control Y to bring up the folder list.
Cursor down until you land on the email account in which you want to add a folder.
Now simply press space

Totally agree on that! No lack at all, really! But, I understand some may have the issue.

I too, have had lags with NVDA and Thunderbird 60.9.0
I followed the suggestions others posted here and performance is much better.
I have not tried Jaws when things lag.

Unfortunately the issue with the mail app is that there are no local folders. I have lots of recipes and things that I like to save.

Actually, nvda does not say the message number. It will read it as if it was in a table which is anyoing. I. wish I could get that to stopbut oh well.

Re: Jaws is now doing better with thunderbird than nvda
I used to use thunderbird but I stopped because it was extremely sluggish with both jaws and NVDA. Now I’m using the mail app and it’s working great with NVDA.
