To set them up:
Start Studio.
While focused on Studio, open NVDA menu/Preferences/Input Gestures.
Look for StationPlaylist category and expand it.
Look for SPL Controller and SPL Assistant

I’ve been to both those places and can’t find what I’m looking for. In the user guide it mentions both sets of commands but there’s no mention of how to set them up. I know it’s done

Thank you for your help. I thought I deleted the NVDA folder in my user profile. Several settings had to be reset, when I reinstalled NVDA the second time. I figured that was proof.

The gestures.ini hold the custom gestures set in nvda
It can be found under c:\users\your profile name\appdata\roaming\nvda\gestures.ini
Rename or remove then restart nvda to reset

However the code factory vocaliser sapi synth just doesn't work, keeps saying I need to register, however it was working today

Many screen reader share's the same HTML command. There is really no way to tell when a person is using neither Jaws nor NVDA less they are using different synthesizer.

The first field is station name then serial number (I usually just copy and paste) then code. Then the next screen is for your email address and the code that they emailed you.
