Re: New member having issues with NVCA.
Thank you very much Gene. Your information is very helpful. I have created a NVDA folder so I can refer to it later if I need to.

Hi Connie
I am guessing nvda has been installed to your computer so when you downloaded the file and clicked on it you chose the first option to install to your computer.
If you have not used nvda

Re: New member having issues with NVCA.
It doesn't have its own voices specifically for NVDA. NVDA uses the Windows 10 voices, the voices that come with Windows 10, by default if you are using Windows 10.

I agree. Max and female 5 are my two favorite voices. They're the clearest ones.

, I too am using the Max voice. I’m happy with it. I can put $70 to a grocery bill instead of a voice I don’t really need.

Hi, Arleen,
I agree that espeak does sound so much better on windows 10. I don't need any other voices either. I'm using the Max voice one right now. What one do you use? Just wondering.

Well I’ll be! Windows ten has its own voices for NVDA? I actually like them. They’re not all that bad if you don’t mind me saying so!

Hi, Quentin,
I just downloaded the new RC release and so-far haven't encountered any issues. Looking forward to the stable release when it comes out. Thanks so much for all your hard work.

By default, the only NVDA keys are either insert. Unless you set NVDA to use other keys, none are available.
