No, you don't need a link to the Gene voice. If you're using espeak, all you have to do is hit insert control V to go to the voice settings. Tab until you get to the varients and choose the Gene voice

Hi Shawn,
Well I allowed an update from 2019.3 RC 2 to 2019.3 RC 3 and it seems to have fixed the problem.

Thank you very much Gene. Your information is very helpful. I have created a NVDA folder so I can refer to it later if I need to.

Hi Connie
I am guessing nvda has been installed to your computer so when you downloaded the file and clicked on it you chose the first option to install to your computer.

Re: New member having issues with NVCA.
It doesn't have its own voices specifically for NVDA. NVDA uses the Windows 10 voices, the voices that come with Windows 10, by default if you are using Windows 10.

, I too am using the Max voice. I’m happy with it. I can put $70 to a grocery bill instead of a voice I don’t really need.

Hi, Arleen,
I agree that espeak does sound so much better on windows 10. I don't need any other voices either. I'm using the Max voice one right now. What one do you use? Just wondering.
