Lol, you-re so right about hp and bloatware and all!
We solved it, and while we were at it, my husband cleaned up her computer via Teamviewer, and now NVDA flies on it, and reads everyting

Saying unknown wouldn’t have happened if the problem was accessibility settings. If the problem was accessibility settings, you wouldn’t have heard anything when you tried to read a page.

I didn’t say the statements are inaccurate. The meswsage is being interpreted by some people to mean that the Firefox and Chrome menus aren’t being read and from there, they are saying that it is

Tyler, our suggestion to paste the line in Pthon Console solved the problem...
I had my husband do the job. He created a text file and sent it to my friend-s pc via Teamviewer, then
