Thanks, Henk,
Thanks for that information. I did disable the status bar for the main window. I had no idea that I would have to go in and do it for the various other windows. I didn’t realize it

Yes, I do have a back up email, but it’s the Windows 10 email client, which I loathe, and that’s being nice. I had an email client that I absolutely loved and used for well over a decade, long

Tip for canceling an Amazon subscription using NVDA & Windows 10
I hope this helps others here. Sorry to those using an OS other than
Win 10, as this won't help yall.
I had the very unfortunate experience of needing to cancel an Amazon
subscribe-and-save

FYI, I've retitled the topic to reflect the 2020 Beta, as there are lots of beta versions over time. If that is an incorrect presumption, then let me know which beta you're making reference to. It's

Re: New NVDA sounds
Hi Kara,
What tools did you use to create them? And do you know what tools did Andre use for his sounds (if different)? I would like to create some similar short sounds for punctuation

I didn’t notice which list the message was directed to when I wrote my last message. Since you are using NVDA, the letter k is the move by link command.

Mary,
I'm sorry to say that this sounds like a bug that has crept in, so you probably can't. I would have to presume this is on the Thunderbird side, too.
As a curiosity

There is a folder called waves. The new sounds are just other wave files. They are placed in a folder with the same name in the same location as the old waves file now is.
