Re: FYI, Windows 10 Essentials Update
Hi Joseph,
No, NVDA did not prompt me to restart. It did prompt me to shut it down. I heard the shutting down sound, then it just sat there. That’s when I restarted it manually. Hope this

Thank you for checking it out. I will try to find a way to contact them. I tried responding to the email but that did not work.

Re: FYI, Windows 10 Essentials Update
Hi Joseph. I get this from time to time as well. NVDA will beep for what seems like forever and I sometimes have to manually update it.

Re: FYI, Windows 10 Essentials Update
Hi,
Did NVDA prompt you to restart after installing the add-on? Normally it should (if it didn’t and you used Add-on Updater to update, that’s something I need to think about).
Cheers,
Joseph

I also hear it, sending message, connecting to smtp server, etc. And I don't have a slow machine either.
This is with 68. Not sure if it is nvda related. The rest of the stuff doesn't speak though,

I have seen the same thing as you have, David. I don't know what the issue is.

Re: nvda 2019.3 vocalizer, and remote support
Hmmm the only time this happens is if there is a server dropout.
there was one a bit ago and I lost connection on the server.
But I still had a seat on the activation I confirmed

It's something that many technicians will do, and if you have an SSD it's an incredibly fast process. What takes the most time is getting updates that may have been issued since the last ISO building

Hi,
Nope – those are app notifications collected by Action Center. The notifications I speak of are things such as “loading complete” in Edge.

Re: Question: Removing Bookmarks In Mozilla Firefox Using NVDA and Keyboard-- not mouse
This isn't an NVDA question. I'll answer it but I won't discuss it further here, but in the chat group.
