You probably used the restart command which is a full reboot. If quick start is enabled, when you shut down, then boot the machine, the machine hasn't been completely shut down.

Your computer does, as I suspected, have a Home and a Delete key, and these are immediately above the backspace key, the Delete is the one to the left and the Home to the right, but these also

If you are using Windows 8 or later, my guess is that fast startup is at play here. Can you confirm that uptime goes back to zero days after restarting your PC?
