Hi William
Thanks. So does that mean I have to write code each time I want to mark the start and end of a video clip I want to cut and paste?

Re: How to start NVDA on an USB drive automatically
Hmmm not sure if thats possible.
Because autoruns in viruses could have this, the security in 7 and up was updated to not allow it.
I am unsure how to write an autorun inf file
but

Hi, I think the option to have a program run upon insertion of usb device was discontinued by micro soft during or after windows xp.
This was for security purposes.

You can't do it for security reasons. Windows removed that ability many years ago to keep malware from running that might be on a thumb drive.
But you can run Narrator, use it to run NVDA, then

Re: Installing new nvda download
You should be asked when installing NVDA for the first time (note: for the first time, not during an upgrade) whether you want it to start with Windows or not.
If you are trying to change NVDA already
