Re: Why are some Greek letters read in Unicode values, not with their actual letter
When I read them with ESpeak's Greek voice, it reads what sounds like Greek. I'm not sure it is as simple as them not being Greek letters.

I read your message on an ipad. It knows greek and a zillion other languages.
some of these characters it says unpronouncable, so I suspect they are not really greek letters.

Interesting. I also get a not reproducable error with outlook 365.
It seems to only be html and rich text emails.

Interesting. I just tried various settings, and none seemed to make a difference as to how these are pronounced.
Although OCR (NVDA+r) gave different, though I think still wrong, results.

Why are some Greek letters read in Unicode values, not with their actual letter
I have a short piece of Greek text here. I'm using ESpeak in the latest alpha of NVDA. There are some of the letters in this that are given Unicode values, not whatever they are, as a named letter.

Hi,
How do we use UI Automation with NVDA? I never toggled that sort of setting, my Outlook - NVDA combo seems to work fine.
Thanks,

Hi,
