When I am reading email, I am hearing dot everytime NVDA comes accross a period. How do I stop this? Thank you.

I don’t think that the dialog says the overall windows version (such as 7 or 10), but it does say the build number as the version number (such as Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.867)). Louise
