If you are using the desktop layout, which you are unless you changed it, it is either the main keyboard insert or the numpad insert.

Basically you can beta test but you might have now 8 thousand pcs on the real build and someone might have a configuration that burps (tech word) that the beta testers didn’t have. In my 20 years

Thanks for the info. I've been using FX about 20 years and really haven't ran into to many problems with the different versions. My other go to browser is Brave. Good luck.

The episode raises questions. Are there blind people beta testing and if so, how many are there? The number appears to be inadequate since this problem should have been found long before release.

That may be, I haven’t checked but you don’t have to accept updates so it is just as effective as turning them off.

The setting is part of the general section, so it should be reachable without any extra steps.
I agree that these changes sometimes seem unnecessarily, but to be fair: Firefox has now been like this

You are correct, but the default is to install automatically
The only other option is to be notified , but you cannot turn updates off

You can control updates. You may have to turn browse mode off to see the part of the options or settings dialog where you select the category you will work with.

That's not accurate, Chris. There are options in Firefox to choose
when to install updates.
