Doubt it. Yeah, I thought that was funny, the person responding as if the author was actually going to see it.
Seriously though, if we had a way to contact her, she might be astonished to find out

Re: A History of ETI Eloquence
I'm surprised the eloquence code still runs anywhere. Do you suppose it will break for Windows 11, when everyone updates to 64-bit only? Does anyone have the current source code? In any case, thanks

Ann, there is a lot you don't tell us here. What version of Windows

Try rebooting and have NVDA not run at boot up. Run another screen-reader. Then install the new version. Though you shouldn’t have the problem, no NVDA file will be in use if NVDA never runs. I

Hello Chris,
I suspect you are correct.
This doesn’t happen with jaws so I may consider purchasing code factory equlonce but as this is a minor inconvenience I may just keep with George.

Re: announcing time in nvda
Hi Dennis
I suspect this may be a function of the synthesizer you are using rather than NVDA. I have tried it with 4 different synthesizers and all announce 18:00.
Cheers

Re: Stopping NVDA from reading partial URLs in Firefox.
OK, I've figured out the issue, at least. I literally just turned off every search thing I can find, I even changed it from use the address bar to search and told it to put a search thingy
