Re: NVDA and excel
Sorry, Robert, but I can't replicate the problem under Excel 2016, and I did not have it update the file format to xlsx.
If you are using one of the newer (2013 or later) versions of Excel I'd suggest

Re: NVDA can not read win10 command prompt window
Hi Dave
Sounds like you’re in screen review mode with the top/bottom, try pressing NVDA+Numpad 1 and make sure you are in object review mode, then try 7, 8 and 9 again.
Cheers

NVDA and the Windows Task Scheduler
How do I get to the Actions menu? If I focus on a task I want to manage--i.e., delete, run now, get properties, etc.--I should be able to point the NVDA Mouse Cursor to the object and right-click it

That's a good suggestion. I hadn't thought about it. It is another demonstration of what I've contended for a long time, that NVDA should automatically revert to object navigation when you leave

Dave, make sure you've switched back to object navigation mode, and not screen review mode while scanning through lines in command prompt?

Re: How do I Stop NVDA from saying Blank when I arrow down in a document or email
Hi,
I’m surprised there isn’t an implicit setting to turn off the reporting of blank lines globally. Most other screen readers tend to have this.

Re: NVDA can not read win10 command prompt window
Do you have "report dynamic content changes" checked under preferences/settings/object presentation? You can also toggle this with NVDA-5 on the number row. I'm pretty sure if you don't have this
