Re: a big thank you to the programmers
The visited link is a standare web browser thing. Not sure what it shows visually if their are visited links, but yes all screen readers encluding NVDA as you already know announce these.

What key strokes eliminate the announcement of visited link?
I assume you don’t have to have it. I am using NVDA.

Yes, Jaws still does say visited link. If you are on a huge site it still does.

I was not a JAWS user so have no idea to this question. WindowEyes and now NVDA were far easier for me to use.

Doesn't JAWS do this as well? NVDA and JAWS both have had shortcuts for links (whether visited or unvisited), visited link, and unvisited link, in their keyboard shortcuts for as long as I can

I also use this as well, it's grate to keep track of things, especially on huge sites you visit infrequently.

I wonder if it is an add-on, as Ron suggested. I don't have the behavior in Chrome or Edge. I do have it in Brave.

Hi,
It also happens in Chrome as well. When in the search field for google search page, no keys are echoed. This only started recently.
Thanks.

I don't have any of these issues using NVDA latest version and latest Edge browser. Could it be an add on causing this issue for you?

Mort importantly Edge will inform you if their is an update. I've not experienced said behavior using NVDA and that other screen reader.

They don't sound like NVDA changes to me. You should have been notified if NVDA was updating.
