Re: Podcast app that works with Windows 10 or 11
This is a Swiss army knife of apps actually, it supports github, mastodon, twitter, telegram, podcasts, and something else. I can't remember what it is but I quite like it, Oh and now it supports home

Re: Code Factory Vocalizer and Eloquence addon
Yep found it after posting the message. I have no idea why my brain though wanted to look in the eloquence settings and not the nvda settings. I visit the nvda settings and should have had that

Even though this has been answered, I'm putting up the following as an example of how to find this very quickly in the NVDA Commands Quick Reference:

Re: Question about using NVDA with Duxbury products.
I do not remember which version I have but nothing reads using NVDA. It comes out senseless. I cannot read the Braille code like Window Eyes did.

Re: Question about using NVDA with Duxbury products.
I have an older Duxbury, version 10.4. It works fine with the current version of NVDA. All aspects seem to talk as they should.

Keystroke for Reading Individual Letters
Hi all,
I know you can press Insert and 5 twice on the num pad to hear words spelled out. What is the equivalent for somebody who does not have a num pad?
Thanks,
David

Re: Question about using NVDA with Duxbury products.
Since NVDA is open source, it's probably more up to the community to come up with an add-on for a given program.

Re: Question about using NVDA with Duxbury products.
It has been a dream of mine ever since going with NVDA that they had a script for Duxbury as I have to use it frequently and can no longer hear what has been written. I spoke to my friend there

Re: NVDA announcing Capital letters
This problem does not appear to be existent with the Sapi versions of Eloquence.
I am using the Code Factory Sapi 5 Eloquence to type this and there is no problem with capital announcement.

Re: Podcast app that works with Windows 10 or 11
Wonder why Blindie apps have such stupid names?
I was going to suggest QCast, and it has a more sensible name as well. 😊

Re: Question about using NVDA with Duxbury products.
Hi,
This is because JAWS provides a script for Duxbury. Ironically an app for the blind is not natively accessible, this is strange to me.

Re: NVDA announcing Capital letters
Hi Gene,
In my testing, you are right. It doesn't happen with Eloquence, but it does with Nuance Vocalizer.
This is because NVDA chucks an upper case character at it, and the synth interprets it

Well, Code Factory voices are a mess. There are lots of issues exists, and they don't even care fixing it. And not to mention they had a reputation of poor customer support, The DRM protection system

The check box is in the voice dialog of NVDA. It is immediately before the OK button and immediately after the fields for adjusting how capital letters are indicated.

Re: Code Factory Vocalizer and Eloquence addon
I should had I’m using eloquence version 1.11.0 according to its about dialogue so I assume I’m up to date. I got it from the AtGuys website. If this setting is in a latter version of the add on,
