Where is this NVDA Global Extension PlugIn. located? Don't see such a
addon on the NVDA addon web page.

Re: NVDA announcing command keys
I believe this to be incorrect.
Whilst I do not have this setting set in the settings of the NVDA Global Commands Extension addon there are options to check announcements for virtually every command

NVDA Global Extension PlugIn.
It allows to define which command keys are announced.

There is no way to change what the setting announces and, as far as I know, there is no add-on to do this.

You know, I never even thought of that. If you do power point or other things. There should be a way to stop any screen reader from reading who comes and goes. I’m sure the sighted folk get tired

Hi all,
Turning off speech is not a viable solution in many cases. I sometimes need to type into chat and at times, swap to another program like powerpoint. We need a better solution.

No need. If you set your device to your headphones and not default you will hear beeps. IE, set the device in nvda to something other than default.

Re: NVDA announcing teams alerts
If you want to turn off speech in nvda you can hit nvda plus s (laptop mode) to cycle through the choices, or listen to the beeps, they are not that bad.
Good luck.
