I hear pitch not cap or capital
And I use the eloquence add on from code factory. I have not checked the speech viewer though but my ears alone say this is working as it should. I have not rired this

I think I started this thread and here is what I have figured out. When
using the code Factory vocalizer addon for NVDA if you have the voice
settings to not say cap and also have the beep for caps

Try opening it in Chrome or Edge. I find browsers read PDFs better now than Acrobat Reader.

No. You may be able to stop it with the speech dictionary. It should be controllable by the user but it isn't.
