Also, this topic is now locked, as it has nothing to do with NVDA. I have said, in the actual group rules, that tacking "with NVDA" on to the end of a question not really about NVDA doesn't make it

Or you can just use Wordpad. Wordpad is a simple word processor and it may not have the features you want and need. But for reading and simple editing, it will suffice. There is no spell

Try using Biplos word processor.
It reads docx files and is completely free and does a ton of other stuff.
If you are interested, I can give you a drop box link to the install.
Ps - it also does ocr
