I tried Small Basic quite a few years ago now with one of my students but it was completely inaccessible then so we covered the same concepts but using Python instead.

you want the checkbox unchecked. It says automatically check for updates. You don't want it to.

Not sure where I can find the what's new section.
Also I don't think her NVDA is set to update automatically as we always had to click a pop up for it to do the update / install an new update.

What I have generally understood that phrase to mean is having NVDA running under Windows Secure mode, e.g., on login screens, when UAC dialogs come up, etc.

I connected the E-Reader that’s based on the HumanWare Brailliant series, but Windows/NVDA ignores any commands from the keyboard and just displays the first half of any line, you have to navigate
