Re: Odd issue with NVDA and windows 11
Hi,
Sounds like they have background progress bars turned on too. This will read bars even for apps that are not in focus.

Re: NVDA not reading aloud usernames/emails in Chrome saved password dropdowns
Hi Sarah,
I am confident they will fix it.
In fact, I hear rumours that they have already in Chrome Canary, but I haven't downloaded it to try.

Re: Looking for nvda friendly editors that support markdown and spell checking
Hi.
I know it's not exactly an editor, but the Quick Notetaker add-on for NVDA is an interesting add-on that allows you to write notes in markdown. You can then preview the output before you save it.

It sure does, also go back and forth from Ritch text to markdown per the
documentation. I like the concept; I'll be playing with this in a few weeks
as I draft some stuff.

Sarah,
The plugin gives you a way to add markdown styles to word and lets you
export and I believe import markdown documents into Microsoft word.

No I just ignore all when it catches it. But otherwise it’s doable. Remember I take the long way around things so your mileage might very.

I might also take a look at that, if I can remember what this plugin does. I
just had a long day so am suffering from memory lapses from the past few
hours. I'll actually send now as I totally forgot

Re: Eloquence and Punctuation Announcement
I believe there is a setting to overwrite nvda, but darned if I can remember
where. Try launching the eloquence control panel and see where you get. I
recall something about punctuation there.

Hi Louis,
Many thanks. I am going to go with ritage. This is the most convenient
option for me for now because I need this plugin for a single article for
now. The 14 trial should be sufficient
