Question Regarding Browse setting
One of the browse settings asks for the maximum number of characters on one
line.
Another question is how many lines on one page.
What should be the number entered for each?

Re: NVDA and reporting of spelling error
I haven't compared the two. I use word very little. Browse mode in Word allows you to use all sorts of features you may find useful. I don't use Word enough to discuss them further.

It’s no faster per say. I use the grammar checker though to go over any mistakes I might have made. It gets the job done.

Thanks for this. I use Word all the time and had no idea. Sounds like it would be faster than using Word’s spellcheck.

I didn't say anything beyond Internet pages. I amnot saying that hovering the mouse isn't important or useful in any programs.

Hi,
I also disagree with Jean on this one, Quickbooks makes some use of Mouse Overs, and JAWS works well with it.
All the best

I’ve often wondered why NVDA calls the apostrophe a tick?
I guess the same reason that it calls an exclamation mark a bang, but it’s curious wording for the apostrophe.

Perfectly logical, and I cannot thank you all enough for your good help to the likes of me. I actually think my capslock is already set to be used as an NVDA key. i'm in win-eyes this

Have you restarted the PC since updating to the RC? Sometimes odd things happen in-between updating NVDA (or other software) and restarting.--
