Pam it was probably IBM. IBM had a program that worked with the IBM Emulation Programs. IBM wasn't the most accessible machines back in that time period.

I typically wait until it prompts me for an update before doing so,
and I too haven't gotten a request for an NVDA update. If I haven't
gotten one by Friday, I may do a manual check.
