Re: overly talkative Thunderbird after recent updates
Sorry. I thought it would be a given that I was using NVDA since this is the NVDA group. I'm using the latest version of NVDA.

I should say that, since this is an NVDA list, I am going to assume you are using NVDA but it should be stated since people shouldn't have to make assumptions about what is being used.

You don't say which screen-reader you are using. If you are using NVDA, I have a suggestion.

I don't know if this is a screen reader issue, a Thunderbird issue or both, but I could use a little help if anybody has any to offer.
Basically, Thunderbird is far too chatty since the last few

I 2nd the recommendation of SwitchSynth since it gives you more than 2 languages in case you start running across French or Italian, for example. :)

I would like to change between two different voices (Microsoft David / Microsoft Stefan) with just one button press / key combination. Is there an easy way to do this?

Re: Issue With Extended Winamp Hot Key For Time Remaining
Hello
That key command is actually for the total time. The command for remaining time is Shift+Ctrl+r. But you are right: Shift+Ctrl+t does no longer seem to work.

Hi Group,
The keystroke control + shift + T should read total time--not time remaining. time remaining control + shift + R works as it should.
