I distinctly remember NVDA only asking if you want to copy a portable configuration's settings/add-ons into an installed copy of NVDA.
Not the other way around.

Hi,
Speaking as the author of Windows App Essentials: may I ask that when discussing this add-on that we DO NOT bring up Windows 7 anymore (please)?
Cheers,

Hi,
Approved for distribution last night, so yes, it is now available on the community add-ons website. Note that it can take up to 24 hours for the update to be offered to you.
Cheers,

Hi Brian,
Window-Eyes used to have an option in Settings to Hide Screen Reader Flag. I wonder if this would be useful for NVDA?
All the best

Indeed, I think I tried almost all the legal ones and many tweaked ones in both windows 10 and 7, and found no actual difference from the nvda standpoint. Obviously in Windows you can move stuff, hide

incidentally folks, the thread for this topic is arriving haphazardly, hence my multiple replies.
