Re: Duxbury braille translator and NVDA: any addon or anyone have successfully use this software fully with NVDA?
I have successfully used Duxbury with NVDA; but it was an older version of Duxbury. That was before they made us switch to this new, nasty Braille code.

Re: move NVDA settings to new computer
You can also copy the contents of %APPDATA%\nvda from the existing computer and paste them in the corresponding location on the new computer.
%APPDATA% is generally C:\Users\{your user

Re: move NVDA settings to new computer
You can set up a portable copy then move settings and all add ons this way. I had some corruption so in the end reinstalled and hosed my add ons and settings then installed from a fresh download.

Yes I did, not sure if the process changes or not. I used an external

Does the type of drive change the process? Did you do it with NVDA?

I've done it before, it's actually pretty simple. This interface
hasn't really changed much since Windows 7.

Use disk part in commandline. Very accessible and does what it claims.

As far as I know both diskpart and disk management are perfectly usable with the keyboard.Granted I haven’t tried everything.
Why do you not want to use command line?

Have you tried NVDA with
Braille Blaster?
www.brailleblaster.org
Maybe it will do what you need.

Agreed.
I prefer how when I move between cells in a table, Jaws reads the row or column name as appropriate. I have to keep a lot less information in my short-term memory that way.
