You're description raises the question of whether NVDA has anything to do with the problem. Your description implies that it is a problem with the keyboard itself. When you close NVDA, then run it

Usually if there is a keyboard issue, its the hardware.
I mean it could be windows, and yeah if it is, there could be driver, bios issues, reinstall windows issues, but its usually the

I made changes to the sound card and now it works perfectly.
Looks like windows has it own reduce sounds when other systems try to use audio. I had to turn that off as well.

Modifier Key Locking
I have a colleague who has asked me to post to this list for her.
She is using the Caps Lock key as the NVDA modifier, and it gets stuck, that is always pressed. Repeatedly hitting it, and exiting

Yep still having that issue here as well. But now TBird is a bit speedier with NVDA, not by much but at least I don't get the busy busybusy thign anymore.

Hello to all. I figured out the issue I was having with patreon. Basically the box was truly inaccessible. I called aira and within 4 minutes the box was checked, a prompt which I did not see before

problems with espeak and latest version of nvda

I am using
2019.2 of NVDA.
When I use espeak the first part of each speech is lower in volume.
When I spell words etc it’s lower volume as well.
Is this happening to anyone
