Re: Some mouse navigation questions
I love screen review and it does actually catch everything on the screen, at least in the program I have to use it in. I just learned about it last week, so for me this is really cooll.

Laptop keys are thus
Switch review modes: nvda plus page up and page down
Move through the screen in screen review mode: nvda plus up down left and right arrows. Add control for words, nvda control

Yep. And, like a great many things in life, the best way to learn is by doing. You eventually perfect a method of generating your search terms that works for you. Eventually trial and error

Closer, but it's Fast Startup. You can also turn it on or off via Control Panel, Power Options, Choose what the power button does link, Change settings that are currently unavailable link, then

Hi,
I know this. But can you move the review cursor out of the active program's window?
All the best

Hi,
Actually they aren't. I don't think that JAWS has any similarity to Object Review mode.
But you may have answered one of my questions. If I untether the review cursor, it may well go outside

Re: Some mouse navigation questions
Hi Jean,
What I find about screen review mode is that it seems to be restricted to the current window. Is there any way of unrestricting it?
It also doesn’t see everything on screen,

You can make searching very complicated but it is usually unnecessary. Its good to know about quotes and using plus or minus if you want to limit a search at times but for most searches, this is

Well I'm not sure if it is still the case, but there used to be, in the list of issues, some kind of grading system, which was like ideal for a new coder etc, but I myself don't know if it still

Re: Microsoft's Own Security Chief Says: STOP using Internet Explorer
Well there are books in searching, but you can control your search engine.
putting quotes round the items to search will search spacifically for that item online and nothing else.

I was wondering that too, because the menu's name is "bookmarks" -- as in it should actually say that -- it's not a symbol or series of symbols, just a word.

Some of my dearest friends are over 70 and 80, so the age thing carries no weight with me.
You have, however, hit upon a really valuable piece of information, that deserves reinforcement: It most

I just looked and apparently my computer has the sapi 5 voices. I’m not going to use them though.
