Re: Want to resume chkdsk
On my ssd the check check disk in about45 minutes and it's a 1 tb hard drive. Man that thing is fast when it wants to be. No there is no way to resume. Just let it run over night.
Take care

I have had a system with memmory issues.
System boots, then it doesn't random shutdowns a lot of issues all over the place.
You can try running a memmory diagnostic from a boot disk if you can

That sounds more like a memory issue than anything related to your storage. Windows these days isn't happy with less than 4GB of ram, and if you had less than that on that pc, it's no wonder it was

Re: nvda/tablet is working again
Actually, alcohol isn't a good choice, as it leaves residue that can cause problems later. Use peroxide, when it evaporates, it doesn't leave any residue, and it cleans just as well.

Completely agree with you.
Writing on the hardest way is the same that wasting words with someone who won't understand them. So if we can make things easier why don't do it?

In my view we should use such analogies for some functions also in userguide. This would make the life much easier for beginners.
