As far as I know, there is a command for reading what you have selected before you copy it to the clipboard. I don’t know what that is. If I am right, others should know.

what do you mean by "the Windows method?"
As mentioned in my question, once you past more than 500 characters (I think that's the threshold) NVDA stops speaking any of the text you're selecting and

I think it will be, not sure about now though. I think you need to talk to a dev as I've seen some chatter about this because Microsoft have not fully implemented UIA as they said they had or

I never use the NVDA start/end markers method when in a text or any editor. I have always checked out the block of text I need to copy (such as on a web page)

In Office 2016, NVDA reads the options for correcting a misspelling clearly in spell check, but not the word that is misspelled. How do I read the word I am supposed to be correcting????

I'm using a laptop with Windows 10 OS but the command for continuous
reading is not working. I tried caps lock + down arrow as well as
