Hi simply making it 200 percent rather than the default 100 per cent seems to fix it without any tweaking.
As you say a problem due to the resolution allowing too much on screen at once. I guess

Ok, I just tried with the latest snapshot, alpha-16188,ceafcdd3 Thu Oct 25 00:49:18 2018 and it's able to read when I backspace or delete in the edit fields on the sign-in page.

So with the new version of firefox, nvda will no longer anounce the deleted characters on the e-mail edit box of outlook signin. It is necesary to shift tab and tab again to get it to anounce

I'm not sure why that is. while it may not be as convenient as alt f4, I would think that muscle memory would cause you to land at about the right place after you got used to it.
