Re: NVDA 2021.3.1 cursor doesn't move in Google product edit fields
I wonder if it is an add-on, as Ron suggested. I don't have the behavior in Chrome or Edge. I do have it in Brave.

Re: NVDA 2021.3.1 cursor doesn't move in Google product edit fields
Hi,
It also happens in Chrome as well. When in the search field for google search page, no keys are echoed. This only started recently.
Thanks.

Re: Microsoft Edge Suddenly Less Accessible with NVDA
Hi Rich,
I don't have any of these issues using NVDA latest version and latest Edge browser. Could it be an add on causing this issue for you?

Mort importantly Edge will inform you if their is an update. I've not experienced said behavior using NVDA and that other screen reader.

They don't sound like NVDA changes to me. You should have been notified if NVDA was updating.

Because those commands can be used (and I can't remember if an add-on is involved or not) in the context of a browser or document for an entirely different purpose. I seem to remember table

Oh, Hmm I didn't actually realize that. I still have a profile though just in cawe, that will save sound devices if I need to do this.

Which exactly matches my concept of the "transitory application profile" for sleep mode itself. Other settings don't behave similarly when tabbing between applications. You either get universal

What you're saying does make sense, since the application profile serves to create an "NVDA microclimate" and you can make additional changes within the "microclimate" on the fly, which only apply

Re: Sleep mode question
That has nothing to do with a profile. When you manually turn on sleep in an application and tab away, you go out of sleep mode. When you return to the application, sleep mode resumes.

Re: Sleep mode question
I seem to recall seeing years ago that there is a way to do this that doesn't involve profiles. Someone may remember it.

Re: What’s the laptop keyboard gesture to move the system focus to where the review cursor is positioned
When using the desktop layout, the command is NVDA plus numpad enter. When the default NVDA key is used, the command is a convenient numpad command, numpad insert+numppad enter.

Microsoft Edge Suddenly Less Accessible with NVDA
I have been using the current version of NVDA with the current version of Microsoft Edge on both Windows 10 and 11 with great success until recently. Within the last few days, NVDA will no longer

What earthly difference would it make?
You could potentially forget anything that you put in a configuration profile, and speech off in an automatically triggered profile for a self-voiced
