It is probably my hearing but when I tried to look up this command through keyboard help it seemed to say Chrome Vox plus a plus o.
This obviously did not work.

I had this with the 2017.4 release and it turned out to be a UAC window in
the background waiting for permission to allow the install.

Yes I think they have worked on US English and the problem is, in doing this they seem to have mucked up UK English as a result!

If you are still on .3 it is already there. I seem to recall your computer is quite old and running xp?

I tend to have snaps as portables, but at present am running the master branch as installed.
I find that if I get an error or lock up on a snap I often here the error sound, whereas the release

If you do an alt tab, often you find an error there about a file being stuck or something. Restart windows and if the installed copy actually still runs try it again.

No I have been banging on about this for over several months now but nobody seemed to listen. I in the end installed speech player in espeak and adjusted the voice back to quincy and its back to
