Jon, from within a folder using Windows Explorer my instance of NVDA 2021.3 is identifying the numeric position you’re asking about, as in “1 of 12.” I am also able to have this information

NVDA is written in Python and C, with hooks, I assume written in Python or C, into the Java Access Bridge. Doesn't it come with the Java Access Bridge nowadays?

There’s a solution to that. Have a dialogue pop up that says, nvda will restart as x add ons are disabled. Ok, cancel. I personally would not use that feature but it would be nice if someone of us

I doubt it will ever be. When you disable an add-on, you must restart NVDA for the command to take effect. While I would think that could be done when working with profiles, I doubt the

I think disableing an addon for specific profile is not yet possible in NVDA.
