That does not solve the issue though. In the main, most of the older hacks were just that, hacks and cause instability.

I was under the impression that embedded eloquence in Jaws is not able to be used outside, so you need to have one of the two, I think legal versions for nvda.

In any version of Windows, as far as I know, you can hold the Windows key and type r. then wait a moment and type narrator and press enter.

It will depend also how you start narrator in earlier versions of Windows to. there were a couple of different ways to start it depending on the windows version but using the Windows key + letter

The older xp system i think it was you could plug it in and a auto play menu would come up with

Yes you can use NVDA on a thumb drive. Someone can better answer your question on here. I think you can do it as long as you have the drive on that computer you are using.
